This past Friday featured the last weekly-scheduled Guest in Jest post.  I think we’ve had a pretty good run with 100 posts.  I thank everyone who participated by submitting posts and all of you who have read them and commented.  This series has been a highlight of my time here on WordPress.  It has been an honor to have such talent showcased here on Everyone Else Has the Best Titles.

Not all is lost.  I will haphazardly ask for posts and hope to gain a few here and there, but trying to fill this slot on a weekly basis has become too difficult.  Besides, my knees are tired from all of the begging!  I will still run humorist posts if they are submitted.  Please, send them in whenever you wish and I will gladly publish them here.

Thanks again to you all!

    1. I am very grateful for the post you sent. It was a fun thing, but I guess I just don’t have enough followers to sustain it. Or at least enough followers who like to write humorous stuff. There will still be a post here and there. 🙂

  2. This was such a wonderful series Linda! And, you did manage to beg several embarrassing moments out of me! 😂 By the way, our grocery store remodeled its shelves, and the dairy case is much more accessible to the shorter customers, such as myself!💕 You have effected changes on a national scale, you are truly amazing❤️

    1. Hahaha! I’m glad you can no reach your milk without climbing the display cases. But climbing is what you do! Does it take a bit of the fun out of shopping? Thanks much for your submissions. They were gloriously funny!

  3. It was a wonderful series and congratulations for keeping it that long. I like your way of seeing things positively. Instead of having regrets for the door that has closed, you turn your attention to the one that will open for you. Because as the saying goes: “When one door closes, another opens.” It’s inevitable, there will be one, and since I know your determination well, I know you’ll take the opportunity. Sending huge hugs your way. And much love. 💙

    1. You are more so. If it hadn’t been for the generosity of your time and your work, this series would have ended weeks before it did. Speaking of which, there will be a special G in J edition soon. I thank you for that one, too! ❤️

  4. Sorry to read of the almost-demise of GIJ but I will send new stories as they occur to me. Apparently as I am getting older my long term memory will now start dredging up stuff I hoped I had forgotten….
