One of the apple trees in an ancient orchard way down in our field. It’s probably well over a hundred years old. Even though the branches keep breaking, the tree puts out new ones. There are about a half dozen trees down there and the deer love the apples they produce!
I really like the mysterious and a little horror emotion the b/w pic creates. And I’ve been meaning to ask, what is this black and white v/s color challenge, seems so interesting!

Oh honey, you must do it! All you have to do is do what I did right here. Pick a photo, show it in black and white and then add the color version. I’d appreciate it if you’d ping back to me. It’s been a lot of fun. ❤️💕❤️💕❤️

So it has no particular theme for the pics? Thats nice. Definitely, now you said it, I’m’a do it haha. I’d definitely pingback.

No theme, whatever you want. Everyone usually comments on which they like best. Mel Gutiér is always scared of the black and white ones..and sometimes the colored ones as well! This tree should make quite the impression. Haha!

I think you did this on purpose! Lol! Linda! I’m sorry… but both remind me of the tree in poltergeist movie. 😱. I don’t why it just does!
That field is just begging for a crazy man with a killer rake popping out and chasing me until I faint and that tree will just swallow me. Eeeeek!

I have to agree! Especially the black/white one is kinda the thing of a typical poltergeist or conjuring world.

Ahahahahha! No not like encouraging, but it actually does look scary. Oh Linda come on you have to agree. It looks like the tree from which Bathsheeba hung dead in Conjuring 1.

haha, you’ll have to look back at my previous black/white/color posts and see if you think they are horror-worthy like Mel does.

Hahaha! I did do it on purpose!! You think my life is so scary! That’s my back yard! Well, the field beyond my back yard. I’m just going to have to find more things to freak you out. It’s fun game for sure! ❤️💕❤️💕❤️

Hugs lovely!! I’m so tickled. But you know… I try. I really try not to freak out. My head is too strong with… stuff! 😉😅

You fail at the not freaking out when it comes to my pics and I love it. It makes me smile every time. It’s our “thing” 😘

After reading the comments, I have to agree with Mel. Something super creepy about the black and white. Could be part of a thriller movie.
